As many of you know I have been working on a build reference video series to help those interested in getting and building the Anet A8 3d printer. Well I could not help myself and decided to do a first print on the Anet A8. Instead of doing something small like a benchy or cube I decided to go for a large 6.5 hour long 3d print of a shrek model I found on thingiverse and the results where insane.
The fan shroud for the first layer did fall off about 30 minutes into the print but I allowed it to continue and it does not look like it caused any issues at all. I am very excited seeing what this machine was able to do in its default for to start the process of upgrades the machine.
If you are interested in the Anet A8 3d printer have no fear, this little beauty is able to produce one hell of a nice print.
